This Privacy Policy explains in clear, plain language how we handle your information when you visit our website. We take your privacy seriously and operate with minimal data collection. 1. Information We Collect (Or Do Not Collect)

We DO NOT collect: Your name, email address (unless you voluntarily submit it via the Contact Us form), phone number, Aadhaar number, date of birth, financial information, or any other personally identifiable information (PII). We do not have any login system, user registration, comments section, or any feature that would require storing personal data on our servers.

Automatically collected (through third‑party services): When you browse our website, certain non‑personal information may be automatically collected by third‑party services embedded on our pages. This includes:

• Google AdSense – collects IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time spent on site. This data is anonymized and used to serve relevant advertisements.
• RSS‑to‑JSON API – when we fetch live news from Google News, the RSS aggregator service may log your request IP temporarily for rate limiting and analytics.
• GitHub Pages (Hosting) – as our website is hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps for security and performance monitoring. Refer to GitHub’s Privacy Statement for details.

None of this automatically collected data is sold, shared, or used to identify you personally. It is used only for website analytics, security, and ad personalization (which you can opt out of).

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Our website uses cookies primarily through the following services:

• Google AdSense cookies (including DoubleClick DART cookie): These cookies are used to serve ads based on your interests and previous visits to our site or other websites. • GitHub Pages (Hosting) – Privacy policy: GitHub Privacy Statement.
• Google Fonts & Font Awesome – These services may collect IP addresses and browser data as per their policies.

We do not have control over the data collected by these third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to our website. When you leave our site via external links (e.g., NCVT MIS, SAMS Odisha, NSP), you are subject to the privacy policies of those external websites.

4. Contact Form – What Happens to Your Data?

Our Contact Us page contains a simple form that asks for your name, email, and message. When you submit this form:

• The data is sent directly to FormSubmit.co, which then forwards it to the developer’s email (avinandanasahani777@gmail.com).
• We do NOT store this data in any database or on our server.
• We use your name and email only to reply to your query. Your email will not be added to any newsletter or marketing list.
• We may keep the email correspondence for up to 90 days for reference, after which it is deleted.
• Never share sensitive personal information (Aadhaar, bank details, passwords) via the contact form.

If you do not want your data to be processed by FormSubmit, please do not use the contact form. Instead, you can reach out physically at the institute campus to the COPA department.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information you submit (though we collect almost none). Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which uses HTTPS encryption to secure data transmission between your browser and the server. We do not run any databases, so there is no risk of database breach. The contact form messages are transmitted via HTTPS and then stored temporarily in the developer’s email inbox, which is password‑protected and two‑factor authentication enabled.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. By using our website, you acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Indian Laws)

Our website is intended for ITI trainees, who are typically aged 16 years or older. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information via the contact form, please contact us immediately (using the contact page) and we will delete that information promptly.

In compliance with the Indian Information Technology (Reasonable Security and Procedures) Rules, 2011, we do not require any user to disclose sensitive personal data for accessing the website.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR (For European Visitors)

Although we are based in India, we respect the rights of all users. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include:

Under Indian law, “sensitive personal data or information” (SPDI) includes passwords, financial information, physical/mental health, sexual orientation, biometric data, etc. We never collect any SPDI. Nevertheless, we provide you the following rights:

• You may request correction of your data (if we had any).
• You may lodge a complaint with the relevant authorities (e.g., Ministry of Electronics & IT).

We use the limited information collected only for the following purposes:

• To display relevant advertisements (via Google AdSense) that help keep this student project sustainable.
